Your absence

Your absence

Is it OK darling?
I asked
The scars that you see
Are made by me,
These baggy eyes
Are the result of previous nights
I see the pain & I see the hurt
My heart is full & about to burst
I could use the knife or use the rope
Have some poison or jump off the cliff
People think I’m lost in madness
But in reality I’m drenched in sadness
I consoled
Life is full of beauty
Smell it, feel it
The bumble bees, the flourishing flower
The smiling faces, helpful hands
Fight for the right, grab the opportunities
Show the life million reasons to smile

(in context of the emerging social problem suicide)
