WHISPERING WAVES

WHISPERING WAVES

Waves comes rolling towards the shore
Huge and mighty it breathes and roars
Passionate between calmness and rage
Warm embrace among land & sea engage

I listen to the whispering waves
Calling me towards the soft sand
Water sweeps & sand tickles my feet
Beneath the place where I stand

Yet I could hear the scream over the whisper
Ocean getting darker & grubby every year
Plastic debris of all kinds littering the beaches
Ebbing the beauty of the shore every inches

Millions of birds & sea turtles die every year
Entangled, with bellies full of plastic everywhere
I'm not hungry for the plastic nor wisps
Only famished for clear water & alluring brinks
