Stolen Innocence

Stolen Innocence

Tear brimmed eyes scanning garbage
In search of plastics, cans and foods
Ragged cloths and dry chapped hands
Full of dirt and foul smell
Wishing for mouthful of bread
But ends up in sniffing dendrites
Escaping crippling hunger
Lives an innocent soul
With a stolen childhood
Dusty feet that have never felt
The touch of warm shoes
Or a carpeted floor beneath them
They do have rights
To go to school & read books
Hold pencils and pen
Instead of picking through trash
To think & express feelings
Be treated with respect without being bullied
Make mistakes and realize positively
Use their talents and abilities
To live a life worth living for

Silent tear

Hiding behind those pillar
She was concealing her trembling hands
Covering her bruished skin with scaff
Still holding her pitiful smile
Silent tear rolled down her cheeks
Have faced all those tortures & heartbreaks

His words punched holes in her heart
Like fist through drywalls
She wore a thousand faces
Just to hide her own

He can't keep her in the cage
Clipped her wings, tell her lie
In a rusted door, latched tight
To keep her in his close sight

One day....
Oh!! Yes one day
Her wings will grow strong
She will definately find the sky

You are the tea leaves of my tea life

You are the Tea Leaves of my Tea Life In my cup of life, you’re the perfect blend, A mix of warmth and love that never ends. Just like milk ...
