The purpose of love is not only to love and receive love in return, but to believe in each other. When we struggle to believe in our own strength, we often need someone who believes in us, someone supportive, uplifting, and steady. It goes both ways. Respect each other. Love may fade after a few months or even a year, but when there is trust and faith in one another, you stay together through the highs and lows. Misunderstandings and difficulties will come, yet choosing to stay and work through them is what keeps love alive. Life is not just flowers, chocolates, or romantic dates; it’s also a punctured tire on a heavy rainy or snowy day, a child crying in the backseat, and still supporting and reassuring each other while fixing things together. All the imperfections somehow make everything perfect.
Nor perfect dates that feel just right.
It's a belief when hope feels small,
A steady voice that lifts us all.
But faith in who we’re meant to see,
Respect that walks in both directions,
Built through trust and shared reflections.
Life may grow uncertain, strange,
Yet love stays strong when hearts decide
To stand through every changing tide.
In a punctured car on a storm-filled day,
Heavy rain or snow falling fast,
A crying child while troubles last.
Still choosing calm, still working through,
Fixing life side by side, as two,
Or many hearts that understand
Love is simply helping stand.
But faith held gently heart to heart
Through every flaw, through highs and lows,
True love is what together grows.
Love as trust, strength, and empathy.
