SURVIVOR

Survivor

A girl and her guitar

Set off at dawn across the city

Daring to walk all alone

Out of the blue,

Acid flung at her face and body

Carving deforming contours

Painful scream and begging for help

Floundering on the dusty street

Burning her identity inside out,

Minutes passed into hours then years

But the devil persisted

Making her die every single day,

Despotism shall not be allowed to succeed

Yet, her audacity surges up

Fighting against the fear and agony

Shimmering glow of transcendent hope

You are the Tea Leaves of my Tea Life In my cup of life, you’re the perfect blend, A mix of warmth and love that never ends. Just like milk ...
